Tuesday morning, a 15-year-old student at Kentucky’s Marshall County High School began shooting a pistol while students gathered in the school’s atrium. Two 15-year-olds were killed and 17 other people injured. The shooter is in police custody.

The individual, who set up a fake Facebook account pretending to be Parker, sent a journalist a a message encouraging the writer to kill herself. Thinking it was Parker, the journalist posted a screenshot of the message, causing the real Scott Parker and the bars he oversees to receive death threats and angry phone calls.

Lee Boyd Malvo, the ‘Beltway Sniper‘ who helped John Allen Muhammad (who was 41 at the time and was later executed for this crime in 2009) shoot and kill 10 people in Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C. between September-October 2002, appeared in the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Tuesday asking for a new sentence due to a 2012 U.S. Supreme Court decision that found life without parole unconstitutional for juveniles. Malvo was 17 when he was sentenced to serve four life terms. The three-judge panel did not say when or how they would rule.

Three Alexandria teens have been charged with gang participation, aggravated malicious wounding and conspiracy to commit aggravated malicious wounding for stabbing a male along Four Mile Run Trail on Monday. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
