Arlington residents want to bike more and have separate lanes; NBC’s Matt Lauer fired over sexual harassment suspicions

According to a study conducted by Arlington County’s Mobility Lab and BikeArlington, a local bicycle education program, 89 percent of the survey’s participants wish that they could bike more often, with 62 percent of respondents calling for more separate bike lines.

Monday night, NBC received a complaint accusing Today show host Matt Lauer of sexual harassment in the workplace. NBC has suspicions that this was not an isolated incident and Chairman Andy Lack said that the complaint that they received was “detailed.”

North Korea has released a statement claiming that they have successfully launched an intercontinental ballistic missile that could reach the United States mainland. United States experts calculated that the missile, Hwasong-15, could, in theory, reach Washington, D.C.

Earlier this month, the Senate voted to require anti-harassment and anti-discrimination training, and now the House will decide whether or not their lawmakers, staff and interns will have “to complete a program of training in workplace rights and responsibilities each session of each Congress.”
