Part of its 2017 Halloween SoberRide program, the Washington Regional Alcohol Program nonprofit has partnered with Lyft to offer free rides to those in/around Arlington and Washington, D.C. starting Saturday, Oct. 28 at 10 p.m. and continuing through Sunday, Oct. 29 at 4 a.m. Using the Lyft app, users can enter the code “DCHALLOWEEN.”

While President Trump was on his way to have lunch with Republican lawmakers at the U.S. Capitol on Tuesday, Sterling’s Ryan T. Clayton, 36, repeatedly shouted “Trump is treason” and announced that he was a part of the Americans Take Action populist group. Clayton, who also threw small Russian flags at Trump, was charged with unlawful conduct.

The future Reston Town Center Metro station’s north-side pedestrian bridge is now in place. Phase 2 of Silver Line construction (which focuses on expanding the Metrorail from Reston to Ashburn) is over halfway complete. The Silver Line is set to open sometime in 2020.
