Loudoun and Fairfax counties will make a joint bid to house Amazon’s HQ2; Northern California wildfires kill at least 10

Loudoun and Fairfax counties will offer up the Center for Innovative Technology’s 26-acre, $30 million spread in a joint bid for Amazon’s second headquarters.

According to Virginia crash data, over the next three months more than 500 Northern Virginia drivers will hit a deer. In State Farm Insurance’s most recent state rankings, the commonwealth has the 11th highest number of large animals hit by vehicles.
