Explosions erupt at Texas plant; Charlottesville mayor apologizes for rally response

Two explosions erupted at a chemical plant in Crosby, Texas, due to a power outage resulting from Hurricane Harvey. The death toll from Harvey has risen to 30 and could grow higher.

Charlottesville Mayor Michael Signer apologized to residents and the City Council for distancing himself from city officials’ response to the fatal white supremacist rally earlier this month.
