This year Fairfax County Public Schools is battling a way to bolster its budget by $59.4 million to a total of $2.5 billion. Superintendent Karen K. Garza recently released her proposed budget calling for a reduction of $96.5 million, eliminating 731 positions. Here, a snapshot of her proposal.
