ZZ Plant
Known for surviving almost any weather or thermostat setting, ZZ plants are able to thrive with minimal natural light and require very little water. The ZZ plant should only be watered once the soil in its pot has completely dried, not only making it a good wintertime plant, but also making it a good houseplant for those who don’t have the greenest thumb.
Philodendrons
A plant that doesn’t mind dry air and doesn’t need to be watered daily? Yep, that’s a philodendron. This plant species only needs to be watered once every two weeks.
Moss Terrarium
Up your indoor plant game with a moss terrarium. It will protect the plants from cold temperatures and adds a stylish decor piece to your home.
Chinese Evergreen
Chinese evergreen, also known as aglaonema, is a plant with large green leaves. The plant’s color stays bright even with low light. Though if you place a Chinese evergreen in a room with little natural light, make sure to avoid overwatering and keep it near a lamp to mimic sunlight.
Aloe
Succulents are a great option if your house tends to run dry during the winter season. Aloe plants won’t wilt, and they can go three to four weeks without needing to be watered. But, aloe is a dessert plant and needs sunlight. Place in your windowsill for an optimal environment.
