With the warmer temperatures and the lack of winter weather this year, it’s not hard to believe that it’s almost time to get your garden in shape for the 2020 season.

To get yourself prepared, add the Capital Remodel and Garden Show to your calendar for the weekend of Feb. 21 to 23. Just like in years past, the Dulles Expo Center will be filled with featured gardens that allow attendees to explore different flower beds, water features, modern gardening accessories, greenery options and more.

At the Flower Market, presented by Merrifield Garden Center, find take-home items for your home, whether indoor or outdoor. You might leave with a small potted succulent or unique items to brighten up your home before the seasons change.

The main stage will host George Oliphant, host of George to the Rescue on NBC, and Mike McGrath, host of You Bet Your Garden, who will both discuss various topics related to home remodeling, easy house and garden fixes and more.

Once you’re done observing, learning and exploring, be sure to check out all of the local vendors that are ready to provide all of the home services you could be in the market for. Want to save a few bucks when attending? Check the website for daily military and metro deals. // Dulles Expo Center: 4320 Chantilly Shopping Center, Chantilly; $9-$12
