Get Ready for Vienna Restaurant Week

Take advantage of deals at over 50 restaurants.

By Maggie Roth March 1, 2024 at 10:22 am

Vienna Restaurant Week is back from March 3 to 10, offering diners a chance to try restaurants throughout the town at discounted rates. Over 50 restaurants will participate this year.

Participants range from casual takeout spots to high-end French cuisine, accommodating a range of budgets and tastes. There’s no standard prix fixe rate like some restaurant weeks offer. Instead, each spot will provide its own special offerings or discounts.

Last year’s event drew “rave reviews,” and restaurants saw big turnouts, said Natalie Guilmeus, Vienna’s economic development director. “We hope this year’s week-long event will garner the same reviews while giving people a unique opportunity to discover cuisine they have never tried before.”

Some standouts on the list include a $45 prix fixe from Le Bistro, the newly opened French spot from the owners of Roberto’s Ristorante Italiano (Roberto’s is also on the list, with a $55 meal); the modern European Maple Ave Restaurant, with a $59 four-course meal; and Bazin’s on Church, with a $45 special menu.

Looking for bites from around the world? Try the Royal Nepal Bistro, Istanbul Blue, or Oh My Dak Korean fried chicken.

Some other participating restaurants include the following:

  • Bear Branch Tavern, a casual American bar and restaurant with a lunch special;
  • Chit Chaat Cafe, an Indian joint known for samosa-filled burritos, tucked inside a Mobil Gas station;
  • British pub Hawk & Griffin Public House, which will offer 15 percent off all food items;
  • Plaka Grill, for casual Mediterranean bites;
  • MidnighTreats, which specializes in huge vegan cookies
