Where to Dine During Metropolitan Washington Restaurant Week

Eating your way through NoVA’s top restaurants is the best way to end summer with a bang.

By Rachel Schlueter August 22, 2023 at 4:32 pm

Take a food tour around NoVA during Metropolitan Washington Restaurant Week. From August 28 to September 3, restaurants across the DMV will offer $25 brunch and lunch menus and $40 or $55 dinner menus.

Participating restaurants cover a wide range of cuisines, from Indian to modern American to French. No matter the time of day or your palate, you’ll find restaurants that fit your cravings.

Brunch

La Côte d’Or Café

This $25 brunch offers a choice of appetizer and main course, including quiche lorraine, a monte cristo, and French toast with red berry coulis. No meal is complete without dessert (even brunch), so order the banana flambé or bread pudding. 6876 Langston Blvd., Arlington

PassionFish

Mark your calendars because this seafood brunch is only offered on September 3. Start with an order of pain perdu, a New Orleans-style French toast. Then try an order of shrimp and red Thai curry or grilled arctic char. End your brunch with a key lime tart or chocolate mousse bomb. 11960 Democracy Dr., Reston

Lunch

Jiwa Singapura

Try this $25 nasi padang, a Singaporean rice dish that’s served with shrimp satay, tempura monkfish, and beef rendang. It also includes salted cucumber, a salad of beans and snow peas, and sliced mango. For $11, you can add a wine pairing. 1702 Galleria at Tysons, Ste. U, McLean

The Salt Line

This seafood spot, which was named one of Northern Virginia Magazine’s top 10 restaurants, is serving a two-course lunch. Starters include clam chowder and roasted beet salad, and entrées include linguine with clams and a crispy fish sandwich. For an additional price, try the lobster roll, oysters, or frozen cocktails. 4040 Wilson Blvd., Arlington

Dinner

2941

Another one of Northern Virginia Magazine’s top 10 restaurants, this modern American spot offers a three-course dinner for $55. Begin with a jumbo lump crab salad or steak tartare, then enjoy a New Zealand king salmon or crescent duck duo, which comes with a duck leg confit and roasted breast. Top it all off with a lemon meringue pie or almond praline sponge cake. 2941 Fairview Park Dr., Falls Church

SER

This $40 dinner takes you on a journey of authentic Spanish flavors. Start with a chilled melon soup or fried calamari. Entrées include grilled swordfish or hanger steak with a chimichurri sauce. For dessert, try caramelized rice pudding or chocolate flan. Add a wine pairing for $25. 1110 N. Glebe Rd., Arlington
