Where to Dine Out in Northern Virginia this Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and several of Northern Virginia’s most celebrated restaurants are preparing special menus for the holiday. Whether you’re craving a classic turkey dinner or a fine dining experience, these local favorites offer festive options without the hassle of cooking at home.

Chef Bertrand Chemel’s 2941, our No. 1 Best Restaurant of 2025, will offer a $120, three-course prix fixe menu that puts a high-end spin on Thanksgiving fare. Get the classic turkey breast, or go for the Earth & Ocean, which comes with roasted turkey and butter-poached lobster. The Ashby Inn, a historic destination nestled in the rolling hills of Paris, will celebrate Thanksgiving with a special dinner. Eddie V’s

Eddie V’s is hosting a Thanksgiving celebration full of live music. Indulge in hand-carved slow-roasted turkey with gravy, brioche sage stuffing, cranberry chutney, roasted butternut squash, hand-whipped mashed potatoes, and baby French green beans with sundried tomatoes. Evelyn Rose

Evelyn Rose will be open on Thanksgiving and feature a modern take on holiday classics.  Choose from an à la carte menu that offers a traditional Thanksgiving plate with a sous vide turkey from Earth ‘n Eats Farm and dark meat confit, along with a potato mash, stuffing, and gravy. Goodstone Inn

Josephine, the French-inspired bistro in Old Town Alexandria, is open Thanksgiving Day. It serves up a warm, intimate atmosphere and a menu that blends French tradition with seasonal American ingredients. 109 S. St. Asaph St., Alexandria

L’Auberge Chez François

The renowned French eatery will offer its traditional seven-course Thanksgiving Day Experience, featuring the classic Whiffletree Farm turkey dinner with all the trimmings. The prix fixe menu, priced between $136 and $147.50 per person, includes corbeille de pain, an amuse-bouche, a choice of appetizers, la salade de l’Auberge, homemade sorbet, an entree, dessert selections, and chocolate truffles to finish.
