6 Northern Virginia Restaurants Serving Asian Brunch

Switch up your traditional brunch fare at these spots.

By Priya Konings October 28, 2025 at 7:30 am

Tired of your standard buttermilk pancakes and scrambled eggs brunch fare? We’ve rounded up six spots serving up delicious Asian brunch fare like dim sum and dosas, as well as more fusion-style brunches with Asian influence.

Bansari

For a brunch with Indian-inspired egg dishes, head over to Bansari. The restaurant offers a hearty egg curry, egg burji, which are eggs scrambled with spices and served with pav bread, and deviled eggs sprinkled with aromatic spices. Be sure to enjoy your meal with cutting chai, a masala tea with house spices and herbs. 2750 Gallows Rd. H, Vienna

Bar Bao

There are two options for brunch at Bar Bao: bottomless or a la carte. With the number of tempting brunch dishes on the menu, we definitely recommend the all-you-can-eat option, which is $36.99 per person. The options are egg-centric and delicious: breakfast tots, topped with an egg over-easy, a breakfast bao filled with scrambled eggs, and egg-topped fried rice. 3100 Clarendon Blvd., Arlington

Bengaluru Cafe

We all love a classic South Indian brunch, and Bengaluru has one of the best ones in town. The venue offers nearly a dozen different kinds of dosas, idlis, and uttapam, all of which are traditional South Indian brunch dishes. We’re especially partial to the savory-sweet chocolate cheese dosa, but the butter dosa is equally as decadent. 3957 Pender Dr. # 105, Fairfax

Immigrant Food Ballston

Japanese American executive chef and culinary director Ben Murray has several Asian-influenced dishes on Immigrant Food’s brunch menu at their Ballston location. Highlights include their PB&J bao buns filled with peanut butter and slow cooked strawberry jam. Plus “Hong Kong French Toast,” made with peanut butter, condensed milk, and house made strawberry jam. Wash it all down with their refreshing pineapple matcha drink.  4245 Fairfax Dr., Arlington

Tiger Dumplings

There are many spots for dim sum — China’s beloved brunch meal — in Virginia. But few offer as good of a deal as Tiger Dumplings. For $36 you can indulge in never-ending dim sum. And with all the delicious options, this is almost too good to be true. From hot chili-oil peanut noodles to hot and sour soup to veggie dumplings to Chinese egg crepes to fried rice, you will be in dim sum heaven at Tiger Dumplings.  1700 N Moore St., Arlington

Tiki Thai

Tiki Thai keeps their brunch menu simple but fun. Guests can choose among a variety of omelet rice bowls or a waffle. The bowl options feature classic Thai dishes like chu chee shrimp curry while the waffles can be sweet with pandan or savory with fried eggs. Don’t skip the brunch cocktails which include a Bloody Mary with a tom yum spice blend, a lychee sparkling wine concoction, and an espresso martiki, made with pineapple rum, pineapple juice and coffee liquor. 12100 Sunset Hills Rd., Ste. 107, Reston
