The new spot is a sister restaurant to Café Colline.

Bar Colline, a French-inspired bistro, opens in National Landing on Friday, July 11. The restaurant is located within The Grace and Reva apartments at 269 19th Ct. S., Arlington.

Bar Colline is the latest concept from H2-Collective, led by Eric and Ian Hilton. The group’s Café Colline, also in Arlington, was rated as one of Northern Virginia Magazine’s Best Restaurants in 2024.

According to a news release, “Bar Colline channels the charm of Parisian corner bistro and bar culture while embracing the freshness and sensibility of modern American dining. Led by chef Brendan L’Etoile, the menu features a mix of comforting classics and seasonal standouts.”

The menu will include steak frites, croque madame, confit de canard, and a weekly rotation of shareable small plates.

Bar Colline’s interior features a 50-foot wraparound bar that will serve a selection of wines, house cocktails, and local beers. Daily happy hour from 3 to 6 p.m. includes $6 wine specials on red, white, and rosé.

In addition to the indoor dining room, the bistro includes an outdoor patio with seating for about 40 people. The hours are Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

“We want Bar Colline to be the kind of place where you come for a quick glass of wine and suddenly find yourself staying for dinner,” says Ian Hilton. “A neighborhood bistro where you can enjoy a lovely bite at the bar, kick off the evening with friends, or slip away for a low-key date night.”
