H2 Collective, the restaurant group behind Arlington’s Cafe Colliné, will open a new French restaurant concept in National Landing, developer JBG Smith announced.

Bar Colline will be an “elegant and dynamic interpretation of the beloved French bistro, Café Colline,” according to a news release from JBG Smith. The new eatery will open at The Grace and Reva mixed-use development in Arlington’s National Landing.

It will take inspiration from Paris, with a menu featuring shareable plates, wine, and cocktails in an eclectic atmosphere. The space will have a full bar as well as a private dining room.

“We’re thrilled to welcome H2 Collective’s newest concept, Bar Colline, to the neighborhood and expect it to offer customers a unique and compelling reason to return again and again,” said Amy Rice, senior vice president of retail leasing at JBG Smith.

H2 Collective is headed by brothers Eric and Ian Hilton and is behind over a dozen restaurants and bars throughout the DMV area. In addition to Café Colline — one of Northern Virginia Magazine’s Best Restaurants of 2023 — its repertoire includes French bistro Parc de Ville, bar and taqueria El Rey, and DC gaming bar Players Club.

Bar Colline is one of several retail and dining spaces that will be found in The Grace and Reva’s 400,000 square feet of street-level retail. Other incoming occupants include Bar Chinois, Colada Shop, Drybar, nailsaloon, Tatte Bakery & Cafe, and Van Leeuwen Ice Cream.
