What’s on your wish list this year?
“I enthusiastically recommend what my own kids loved—toy instruments that kids can play. Making music with toy instruments helps foster creativity, improves listening skills and can support cognitive development. And, of course, I love a big bag of plain Legos, because kids can turn that into anything they can imagine.”
What’s your favorite NoVA holiday tradition?
“Our favorite holiday tradition is going to hear holiday music in December. We don’t miss the Alexandria Choral Society holiday program. The new director is innovative and the program is always terrific. We also love the Christmas Revels.”
