The Valley Forge Winter: Remembering the Man Who Made a Difference

We’ve all heard the stories of the Continental Army surviving that harsh winter in Pennsylvania, but you’ve probably never heard it from Baron Friedrich von Steuben’s perspective. Hired to train the soldiers during that winter, see how he made a difference during the Revolution and the role foreign soldiers played while fighting for the country’s freedom. $25-$30

This historic Carlyle House has gone through its fair share of owners over its 250 year history. And with that change comes design alterations. Native American Campfire at Brentsville Courthouse Historic Centre
August 28, 6:30 p.m.
As you enjoy a nice bonfire under the summer sky, take some time to learn about the Native Americans that used to call Prince William home. Roast marshmallows and hear stories of the natives, examine artifacts, and learn the games the children used to play almost 400 years ago.
