Vote for Northern Virginia’s Best Barbecue Spot in the 2026 NoVA Wars: Barbecue Edition

From mouthwatering ribs and wings to juicy brisket and pulled pork, tell us which restaurant is serving up the best barbecue.

By Editorial July 8, 2026 at 8:00 am

We want to know which NoVA restaurant is the best of best when it comes to finger lickin’ barbecue. We’ve selected 16 restaurants across Northern Virginia to go head-to-head in our bracket-style competition. Here, vote for your favorites to help them advance to the next round for their chance to claim victory.

Round 1 closes on Sunday, July 12 at 11:59 p.m.

Voters are allowed to submit one vote per round.

Note: This bracket does not reflect a comprehensive list of every barbecue restaurant in the region. To select this year’s competitors, we included the businesses listed in our Best Barbecue cover story, as well as critic recommendations and new businesses in the area. The slideshow above shows a breakdown of each quadrant in the contest bracket.
