Lace up your skates and hit the ice at Reston Town Center’s Ice Rink in their open-air pavilion. Take skating lessons, celebrate a birthday, or rock out during the weekly Rock ‘n’ Skate every Friday. $10 for adults, $9 for kids and seniors. / Through March

 

2WolfTrap Holiday Sing-A-Long
Sing-a-long with the United States Marine Band, DMV choirs and other vocal groups in celebration of the season. Featuring popular Christmas and Hanukkah tunes, get in the holiday spirit with this free concert. Remember to bring bells for the “Jingle Bells” Jing-a-long. / Dec. 6

This the alternative holiday craft show is supersized. Seventy-five vendors will take over the art center where patrons can peruse and make unique holiday items. There will be music and food, and children can watch the 1966 version of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” as it plays throughout the event. /
