
No, it was not a dream. The Washington Nationals did in fact win the 2019 World Series on Oct. 30, for the first time in franchise history. On Saturday, Nov. 2, the entire city of Washington, DC and the surrounding region will come together to celebrate the world champions at the team’s victory parade.

Mayor Muriel Bowser was the first to announce the details of the event following the win at around 11:30 p.m., with the now-trending hashtag, #FIGHTFINISHED. The parade will begin at 2 p.m. on Constitution Avenue and 15th Street NW, continuing down Constitution Avenue to end at Pennsylvania Avenue NW and Third Street NW.
