Strong storms are expected to hit the DMV this afternoon, with a Yellow Weather Alert already issued for a majority of the day. Storms are predicted to begin at 2 p.m. and will impact the evening commute until 7 p.m. Expect storms in the forecast for Thursday and Friday going forward. (WUSA9)
Google has signed a 1640,000-square-foot lease in the Comstock Development Services building at Reston Station. The company will occupy the top floors of the 16-story building and roughly 500 employees will be housed in the new space. (Globe Newswire)
An Arlington County planning committee says Amazon needs to do more for the Pentagon City skyline in order to make its mark. The committee expressed concerns that although the buildings are planned to fit in with the city’s palette, they are unambitious in style and rooftop distinction. (ARL Now)

Expect to see the hockey star on boxes of Ovi O’s, a “naturally flavored honey nut,” cereal at Giant Food grocery stores.
