Dirt Farm Brewing’s Nomini Oyster Fest

October 3 and 4 

Oyster lovers, take note: Nomini Bay Oysters will be at Dirt Farm serving up its Virginia-grown delicacies. You’ll find a variety of options at the outdoor event, including raw and grilled oysters. You can wash them down with one of Dirt Farm’s ales, IPAs, lagers, or pilsners. Bear Chase Brewing Company’s 6th Annual Beer Festival

October 17, 11 a.m.–4 p.m. 

Take in panoramic Blue Ridge Mountain views while you sample the brewery’s year‑round and seasonal beers, including fan favorites like Kodiak Kölsch, Evenin’ Sunset IPA, and Buttons the Bear. Crooked Run Fermentation Fall Pickle & International Food Festival

October 17 and 18 

Be prepared to pucker up at this Sterling festival celebrating pickle-inspired cuisine. The family-friendly event includes vendors and drink tents selling international food and craft beer. Books & Brews at Caboose Tavern
