A new music festival is combining ’70s soul and ’90s hip-hop, all in one day. The inaugural Rising Tides Festival is planned for November 22 in Ocean City, Maryland, at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center.

The festival is divided into two sessions: 70’s Soul Jam from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and the Forever Young Tour from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The 70’s Soul Jam will be hosted by Good Times actor Jimmie “JJ” Walker at the Performing Arts Center. Bands include The Spinners, The Legendary Blue Notes, and William Hart’s Delfonics.

Then stick around for the Forever Young Tour in The Music Hall, hosted by former NSYNC member Chris Kirkpatrick. Vanilla Ice, Rob Base, O-Town, Ryan Cabrera, Treach of Naughty by Nature, Color Me Badd, LFO, and Young MC will perform.

Tickets are on sale now and offer the option to purchase each show separately or as a combination ticket.
