Sisters Thai Opens New Location at Capital One Center

The Tysons location will be the largest of the Thai eatery’s five storefronts.

The dining and entertainment scene at Capital One Center continues to grow. Sisters Thai is the latest to join the urban neighborhood, opening its new location on November 18.

The Tysons storefront is the restaurant’s fifth and largest location. The new spot is located across the street from Capital One Hall, the 70,000-square-foot entertainment venue.

“We are so excited to be a part of the growing development at Capital One Center, and host our flagship restaurant across from Capital One Hall,” said Tammie Disayawathana, owner of Sisters Thai, in a news release. “There is so much energy at Capital One Center and we’re proud to bring our family-run business here.”

Diners can expect to find authentic Thai street food, including kana moo grob, khao soi, and moo grob basil. Specialty curry bowls, Thai favorites, and a drinks menu are also available.

The new location also features a new bakery, gelato, and café concept called Flore, where diners can find fresh pastries and crepes. In the new year, the café will start offering high tea experiences.

The new Sisters Thai location joins Wren, Stellina Pizzeria, Ometeo, Starr Hill Brewpub, and Starr Hill Biergarten as dining options at Capital One Center.

In addition to the new Tysons location, Sisters Thai has locations in Alexandria, Fairfax — one in the Mosaic District and one near George Mason University — and Potomac, Maryland. The restaurant group also operates Magnolia Dessert Bar & Coffee in Vienna. 7735 Capital One Tower Rd., Tysons
