For those who love the reality TV show The Voice and the band Poison, you will want to get tickets to this weekend’s concert in Leesburg. Huntley of Fredericksburg, who has been on the reality TV show, joins Poison frontman Bret Michaels.
As the headliner, Michaels brings his Parti-Gras tour to the Ion International Training Center Saturday, November 18. The concert is set for 7 p.m. Michaels will play his solo music as well as Poison hits.
Huntley, 33, advanced this week on The Voice, along with two other Virginians, Claudia B. and Noah Spencer.
Others set to perform at the hometown holiday show include Journey’s former lead singer Steve Augeri and Bill Leverty of FireHouse. Virginia favorites, 8 Track Jones and Gavin Evick are the opening bands.
Gavin is the son of Pete Evick, the Manassas guitar player for Michaels. The other band members playing with Michaels who have NoVA connections, according to the Loudoun Times-Mirror, are guitarist Dean Cramer of Round Hill, vocalist Becci Clark of Haymarket, bass player Norman Voss of Fredericksburg, drummer Meri Schaeferof Springfield, and keyboard player Rob Jozwiak, who has lived in the area.
