Rent the Runway Pop-Up Shop Coming to Tysons

The temporary storefront will feature “pre-loved” items from more than 50 brands.

By Maggie Roth August 25, 2023 at 8:34 am

Rent the Runway will host a pop-up sample sale in Tysons Corner Center next month, where shoppers will be able to find designer clothes at highly discounted rates. The pop-up will run from September 1 to 25, in the lower level of the mall between Bloomingdale’s and Nordstrom.

Rent the Runway is an online retailer that allows users to rent clothing and accessories from high-end brands at a fraction of the price for short periods of time.

The sample sale will sell some of the site’s used clothing, handbags, and accessories for up to 90 percent off their original retail prices. Organizers expect styles to sell out quickly, but stock will be replenished throughout the duration of the sale. All purchases are final.

This will be the second time the pop-up shop has come to Tysons. The last occurred in 2020.

There will be over 50 brands included in the sale, according to a news release. Some of the brands that shoppers can expect to see include the following:

  • Staud
  • Anine Bing
  • Jason Wu
  • Veronica Beard
  • Club Monaco
  • For Love and Lemons
  • Kate Spade New York
  • Rails
  • Show Me Your Mumu
  • Maje
  • Diane von Furstenberg
  • Scotch & Soda
  • PAIGE
  • Victoria Victoria Beckham

Shoppers can sign up for a free entry pass, but it does not guarantee admission or allow shoppers to cut the line.
