Doing the same thing every day can get a little boring. But thanks to the surplus of activities available at these adult day care centers in the region, your daily routine can have a little more variety. Whether you’re interested in taking up cooking classes or want to participate in full-time rehabilitation care, there’s something for everyone at these local centers.

Agape Adult Day & Home Care
This facility in Alexandria is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for those 18 and older who require varying levels of care, whether physical or mental. Fairfax County Adult Day Health Care
Fairfax County offers four separate facilities—Herndon Harbor Adult Day Health Care, Lewinsville Adult Day Health Care, Lincolnia Adult Day Health Care and Mount Vernon Adult Day Health Care—for senior residents in the region. The County’s program takes a holistic approach to each individual, engaging every participant mentally, physically and socially to better his or her everyday lifestyle. Arlington Adult Day Program
This site serves as a local alternative to a full-time nursing home or assisted living facility, as the daytime services are both physically and mentally enlightening. Amenities available include social events like crafting, games and dance parties, as well as nursing care, interactive exercise classes and complimentary meals. Prince William Adult Day Healthcare
This center is a home away from home for those who can no longer remain on their own throughout the day. The site’s program includes group-based activities, such as music therapy, pet visits, holiday parties and more, as well as personal care and health monitoring for each individual. Loudoun County Adult Day Care Centers
Serving residents age 60 or older, Loudoun’s three facilities—Eastern Loudoun Adult Day Center, Leesburg Adult Center and Mac Brownell Adult Day Center—are dedicated to assisting individuals with memory loss, health problems or those who simply want more socialization. Each facility provides transportation services, therapeutic programs, medication management and a variety of entertaining activities, ranging from yoga to painting. // locations and prices vary
