Virginia’s General Assembly is taking a look at the “Kings Dominion Law,” regarding the start of the school year, during its current session. Lawmakers are hoping to repeal the bill that requires school districts to start after Labor Day (unless granted a waiver) and instead allow schools to start their year whenever they want.
