The Great Prince William Cleanup

Organized by Keep Prince William Beautiful, who has partnered with Woodbridge District Supervisor Frank J. Principi, this do-good-for-the-community event will hone in on 13 miles of Route 1 from Occoquan to Quantico. Springfest 2018

In partnership with the Fairfax County Park Authority, Clean Fairfax once again hosts its free Springfest event. More than 75 food trucks, vendors and exhibitors will be in attendance, as will an alpaca for petting. 15th Annual Earth Day Festival at Old Mill Park

As parking is limited at this free event, attendees are encouraged to leave their car at home and walk to Old Mill Park using the Heritage Trail. Earth Day Pollinator Garden Work Crew

Bugs may get a bad rap from people that see them as only scary, creepy-crawly things, but because of their positive impact on our environment, it’s important that we help them live their best life. You can do just that by helping prune and mulch the pollinator garden at Lake Anna State Park. Earth Day 2018

This all-day event kicks off with a walk around Kane’s Creek and Eagle Spur Trails, accompanied by a lesson on the essential role that trees play in our lives and the lives of the other creatures we share the planet with. Help Sky Meadows State Park replace old fencing by coming equipped with sunscreen, hiking shoes, bug spray and water. All other tools will be provided. Earth Day with North Gate Vineyard

In true Earth Day form, attendees to this free event are asked to use public transportation, walk or bike over to Lenny Harris Memorial Fields, where they will find exhibits, demonstrations, hands-on activities and events that include a Trashin’ Fashion Show and an art contest for children in grades K-12.
