Fashion with an Impact

Head over to the Embassy Row Hotel in D.C. on Sept. 9 from 7-10 p.m. for the Fashion with an Impact fashion show. The event will feature designs from D.C. fashion designer Betsy Fisher, and the ticket sales will benefit Urban Alliance, an organization dedicated to empowering under-resourced youth. On Sept. 12 from 6-10 p.m., Arco Iris America will be hosting an evening dedicated to giving back to impoverished Bolivian children through a runway show, silent auction and other activities. The event will take place at The Embassy of France in D.C. and will feature fashion collections from Jean-François Garcia and Kathyuska Carrasco. Visit your local Ann Taylor store or anntaylor.com on Sept. 18 for a chance to purchase 12-karat gold plated necklaces and bracelets while giving back to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Ann Taylor will donate 50 percent of each purchased item to the BCRF.

Take 5 and St. Jude Hospital

Take 5 Boutique will be hosting a fall/winter women’s collections preview to benefit St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital on Sept. 26 from 5-8 p.m. The event will also feature children’s collections by Dawn Price Baby and special guest stylist April Yvonne.
