From walks through nature to stress-reducing yoga sessions, these workouts will help rejuvenate you for the coming week.

The weekend is the perfect time to focus on self-care. Whether you want to stay cozy during a yoga session or head out in the cold to explore nature, these five relaxing workouts will keep you centered and stress-free this weekend.

Virtual Vinyasa

Friday, 5 p.m.
Shake off the stress of the work week before you go into the weekend. This vinyasa class is open to all levels of practice and will focus on linking your breathing to movements, remaining calm and staying centered. // $10

Monthly Naturalist Walk: Geology

Saturday, 10 a.m.-noon
Take in nature with your weekend workout by going on a hike. Join a naturalist for a walk through Leopold’s Preserve as you take in the surroundings and learn about the geology of the area. // Leopold’s Preserve: 16290 Thoroughfare Road, Broad Run; free 

Yoga Workshop: Gentle Flow with Yoga Nidra

Saturday, 2 p.m.
Clear your mind and restore your body with a gentle flow yoga class. Get in a good stretch, then relax your mind with a sound bath to bid farewell to the past year. Participants will enjoy a spiked winter beverage after class. // Salamander Resort & Spa: 500 N. Pendleton St., Middleburg; $40

Wetland Dusk Walk

Saturday, 4:45 p.m.
Take in the Saturday sunset with a stroll around Huntley Meadows Park. Join a naturalist at dusk to see and hear how the wildlife transitions from day to night around the park. // Huntley Meadows: 3701 Lockheed Blvd., Alexandria; $9

Colonel Mosby Sites Walking Tour

Sunday, 1 p.m.
Enjoy some local history by taking your daily walk to Warrenton. Explore the town and learn about its Civil War history while getting your steps in. Masks will be required when inside the jail and when social distancing cannot be maintained. // Fauquier History Museum at the Old Jail: 10 Ashby St., Warrenton; $10
