F45 Training Tysons to launch new Prodigy model for adolescents

This new program will allow pre-teens and teens a place to get in their daily activity while creating healthy habits.

During this unprecedented year, it has definitely been hard to get in enough physical activity while staying at home. Especially middle and high schoolers who have had their sport seasons and gym classes cancelled. To help increase physical activity, F45 Training in Tysons will be launching Prodigy, its new program for adolescents.

The Prodigy program, which debuts Monday, Oct. 26, provides pre-teens and teenagers the opportunity to grow physically and mentally; while also creating lifelong healthy habits in a community environment. This model will be open to pre-teens and teenagers ages 11 to 17. The F45 Tysons studio is the first F45 studio in the region to offer this teen-specific program.

Unlike most workout classes, Prodigy is designed to give teens a safe, effective and time-efficient form of physical activity. The Prodigy Foundation membership includes unlimited training for the Prodigy classes for $119 per month. Those wanting to try out one of the classes without the commitment can sign up for a two class trial for $2.

“Prodigy is specifically designed to support growing teens with everyday movements while building strength, endurance and overall wellbeing,” said Jeffrey Harnois, the owner and operator of F45 Tysons. “F45 Prodigy has been widely utilized in the Australian and New Zealand markets for the past year and a half, and we are confident that it will positively change many children’s lives here domestically as well.”

Since these classes are debuting during the pandemic, F45 Tysons has implemented new safety precautions to keep its staff and members safe. New members can expect temperature checks, hand sanitization and increased time for sanitization and equipment cleaning between each class. // 1640 Boro Place, Suite 206, Tysons
