Bon voyage! Hotel Indigo Old Town Alexandria has partnered with the Mariner Sailing School to launch its Set Sail package, offering hotel guests the chance to sail on the Potomac, learn the ins and outs of sailboats and take in views of DC.

The package, which launches on May 8, and is available through the end of October, includes a private sailing lesson at Belle Haven Marina. The lesson is two hours long aboard the Flying Scot, and transportation credits to and from the hotel to the marina are included in the package.

Guests will also enjoy a bottle of local wine and oysters on the half shell, courtesy of the hotel’s Hummingbird restaurant, and an overnight stay with a complimentary upgrade to a king, water-view guest room outfitted with a maritime-themed welcome gift.

The package is fitting for the hotel, which features in-room sailboat murals, a bronze fisherman courtyard statue and sweeping views of the Potomac River.

For each package night booked, the hotel will donate $10 to the Alexandria Seaport Foundation, which mentors youth in the community.

For more information, or to book the package, visit hotelindigooldtownalexandria.com. // 220 S. Union St., Alexandria; Rates start at $379
