Your flight’s in three hours and you can’t find your suitcase. Breathe. It’s going to be OK—just reach for your phone and be sure it’s loaded with one of these apps:

Trip List

Create multiple packing lists and to-do lists, save them for future use and sync with your other devices. And to be sure nothing is forgotten, scroll through the built-in catalog for lists of commonly packed items. The basic app is free, and three upgrade options range from 99 cents to $5.99.

The Vane

Though it offers a packing list feature, this app is more like a stylist in your pocket. It goes beyond lists with daily style suggestions (including looks for brunch, the beach and the office) that you can add to your in-app shopping cart for easy purchase. Free.

Packing Pro

One of the most popular travel apps, Packing Pro helps generate lists using several customization options, including climate, number of travelers and a built-in bank of more than 800 items. In addition to sync and share options, users can also snap photos of what they’ll be packing and save them as future reminders. Download for $2.99.

Stylebook

As the app developers proudly proclaim, Stylebook is the IRL version of Cher’s virtual closet in Clueless. Just as she did, you too can scroll through all your clothes (after investing the time in photographing them) and mix and match as you wish. For trips, go beyond just listing each garment and see visual representations of what each outfit will look like. Plus, the app offers much, much more for everything sartorial. Costs $3.99.

Travel List

Travel List allows users to prepare for every aspect of their upcoming trip, including coordinating trip itineraries and sharing and syncing them with other users. There is also a packing list feature within the app that can be organized by category of item. Costs $1.99.
