Slick City Action Park
The newly opened Slick City Action Park in Potomac Mills has indoor slides, air courts, toddler areas, a trapeze, and more. There are plans for the park to host themed sessions like sensory-friendly hours and after-hours events with music for teens and adults. Events staff are available for customizable party packages, too. The Sloomoo Institute
The Sloomoo Institute is set to open in Tysons Corner in July. The venue took over a 17,000+ square-foot space and will house more than 500 gallons of slime. Like its other locations, there are plans for a DIY slime bar and Sloomoo Falls, which lets kids experience a waterfall of slime. 1961 Chain Bridge Rd.

Hershey’s Super Sweet Adventure
This sweet (literally) center opened in April in Tysons. For fans of Hershey’s Chocolate World in Pennsylvania, this is a must-see spot. There is a candy-themed workshop where guests can customize a candy badge to enter a Hershey Kiss-shaped door. The door unveils a Willy Wonka-esque immersive wonderland. Happy Times Playland
This 11,000-square-foot indoor playground is space themed. There are neon ball pits, swirly slides, colorful tunnels, and arcade games. The decorations are just as colorful and fun, too, with smiling aliens, cartoon rockets, and astronauts hurtling through space. 1 Towne Centre Blvd., Fredericksburg, $8.99 to $21.99 depending on weekday vs. weekend, membership options available
Cozy Village Play Café
Little ones can play freely while their parents enjoy a cup of coffee at this play café that emphasizes the importance of community. SensePlay Studio
Specifically designed for babies and toddlers 6 months to 5 years, SensePlay Studio features process art, cooking, and sensory play. The indoor play area has interactive sensory stations and imaginative play zones perfect for a rainy day. Play n’ Learn The Playground Superstore
Children are welcome to play up to two hours at The Playground Superstore’s showroom in Chantilly. The indoor facility has rubber flooring, swing sets, basketball hoops, and trampolines, all best suited for kids ages 2 to 8.
