The temps are climbing, and outdoor music and beach vacations are on the horizon. You can combine the best of both worlds at the Oceans Calling music festival, planned for Friday, September 25, to Sunday, September 27, in Ocean City, Maryland.

The three-day festival, the brainchild of O.A.R. frontman Marc Roberge, is now in its fifth year. The popular East Coast music event drew around 162,000 fans last year.

This year, Oceans Calling will feature more than 40 performances on three stages, all on Ocean City’s boardwalk.

On Friday, the headliner acts are Dave Matthews Band and Hootie & The Blowfish. Ludacris, O.A.R., Yellowcard, Shaggy, and Liz Phair are also scheduled to perform.

Saturday is headlined by Twenty One Pilots and Gwen Stefani; Goo Goo Dolls and Third Eye Blind will also take the stage.

Mumford & Sons and Matchbox Twenty are the Sunday marquee acts. Other bands on Sunday’s lineup include Caamp, My Morning Jacket, and The Head and the Heart.

The event features bites from local food vendors and boardwalk businesses. World-renowned chefs will also be on hand providing cooking demonstrations.

And for even more fun, Jolly Roger at the Pier is located within the festival grounds, so guests can take amusement park rides and play carnival games between performances.

Oceans Calling tickets start at $179 for one-day and $380 for three-day general admission.
