Summer is heating up. And for those looking for new adventures and ways to keep cool, make plans to visit the new Harpers Ferry Waterpark.

Part of the River Riders family, this new inflatable water park is set to open on Friday, June 6. Surrounded by scenic quarry views, the park features seven giant inflatable elements. They include slides, jumps, swings, two spinning disks, and a Ninja Warriors-style obstacle course down the center of the attraction.

Guests need to be age 5 or older, at least 45 inches tall, and must be able to swim. All guests will be given a personal floatation device to wear throughout their session.

Discounted splash passes can be purchased for $25 through Thursday, June 5. After that, passes cost $29.99 to $41.99 depending on the date and time selected. Harpers Ferry Waterpark also offers passes for non-participating guests who just want to watch the fun from the shore for $15.99.

The waterpark has sessions at 10 a.m. and noon during the week, and an additional 2 p.m. session on the weekends. Starting June 18, Harpers Ferry Waterpark will be open daily through the end of September.
