As it swiftly gets warmer outside, and with spring on the horizon, there’s no better time to get out of the house and enjoy the nice weather. From a festival dedicated to food and wine to an abundance of musical performance, here are some things to do to make this weekend a busy one.

Crafts & Cider

February 28, 6:30–9 p.m.

Grab a friend and create friendship bracelets and barrettes in an evening full of great arts and crafts from CatRad Creative, all while drinking delicious craft cider. Don’t forget your goodie bag at the end of the night! Lost Boy Cider: 317 Hooffs Run Dr., Alexandria, $10

“ICONS” Electric New Wave Dance Party

February 28, 7 p.m.

Christian Lopez Band with JD Eicher

February 28, 7 p.m.

Aaron Watson

Les Greene & The Swayzees

Get into the Irish spirit at this iconic Alexandria festival. Spend the day with friends and family enjoying a host of performers and entertainment, pipe bands, Irish dance schools, and community groups. Frog Frenzy

March 1, 2–3 p.m.
