Potomac Mills is about to get even more exciting in the new year with the arrival of Slick City Action Park, an indoor adventure hub designed for thrill-seekers of all ages.
Slick City Action Park will feature a range of activities, including multiple indoor slides, air courts for jumps and dunks, and a Junior Jungle for the youngest adventurers. It’s set to open in 2025, though an exact date has not been announced.
“We are excited to bring Slick City Action Park to Potomac Mills and provide a unique entertainment option for our shoppers,” said Bethany Webb, director of marketing and business development at Potomac Mills. “This new addition perfectly aligns with our goal to provide diverse and engaging experiences for our visitors. We believe Slick City will become a favorite destination for families and thrill-seekers in our community and beyond.”
Additionally, the park will offer a variety of dining options and party rooms for group events. It will also feature a retail store stocked with Slick City merchandise.
Slick City will be located in Neighborhood 5 of the mall. This will be the fifth location of the franchise and the first on the East Coast.
More at Potomac Mills
Slick City Action Park isn’t the only new addition to Potomac Mills. The center will also soon welcome several popular retail stores.
Among the newcomers are Greg Norman, offering golf-inspired activewear for men and women, HEYDUDE, known for ultra-light and comfortable footwear, Primark, a value-driven fashion retailer, and the U.S. Polo Assn. Outlet, which specializes in casual, classic clothing.
Potomac Mills also announced plans for a remodel of its food court, which will be rebranded as the Food Pavilion, Inside NOVA reported in October.
The renovation, set to begin this winter, will introduce contemporary flooring, lighting, a new color palette, and upgraded seating, including charging stations and elevated tables. The revamped space aims to offer a more energy-efficient and inviting atmosphere for relaxation and socializing.
Construction is expected to be completed by early next year, with the food court’s existing eateries remaining open throughout.
