16-Bit Dive
I’ve always said that dining out on major holidays is for amateurs. As a professional eater, I stay away from restaurants on Valentine’s Day. But I love a competitive round of gaming with my love, so I’ll be heading to Reclaim Arcade in Fredericksburg to celebrate. They have “Street Fighter II Championship Edition,” the video game at which the fighting genre attained perfection. The only question left is whether I’ll play as Blanka or Dhalsim. –Alice Levitt, food editor/critic
Outdoor Adventure

I’m a sucker for a good view, so a day trip to Shenandoah National Park and the iconic waterfall of the Dark Hollow Falls Trail is just what I need. –Michele Kettner, associate digital & research editor
