With COVID-19 closures affecting the entire region, many local businesses have had to adapt their usual practices to fit this new normal. The same can be said for the numerous artists around Northern Virginia, including Alexandria-based artist Meg Biram, who recently turned her studio into a gallery and is now showcasing her new work in Del Ray.
Biram’s brand-new art show is currently running in her Del Ray studio through Sunday, Aug. 16. The show will showcase a variety of series from the artist, including “My Heart in a Million Pieces,” “How I See The World” and “Connected Energy.”
If you would like to attend the gallery, attendees can schedule an appointment with Biram through email or direct message on social media. Appointments are blocked off in one-hour segments with a maximum of eight people in your group.
Pieces in the show range from large canvases to smaller paper designs, ranging from $50 to $4,500. Those who attend the show in person will also have access to some pieces with special pricing.
Since the gallery show is being held during the pandemic, Biram is asking attendees to wear a mask, and wipes will be provided to clean off your hands after looking through the smaller pieces.
