Arlington Arts is adapting with the times. Its newest initiative, Arlington Arts at Home, is bringing its current programs and past favorites into the comfort (and safety) of your home during the coronavirus pandemic, including activities from the Arlington Art Truck, Art on the ART Bus, Arlington Public Art, Arlington Arts FY2020 Grant Recipients and Synetic Theater.

Users can find how-to guides for sewing; coloring pages with Arlington scenery; activity sheets featuring local parks; an online collection of public art, as well as sidewalk tours that you can do on your own while practicing safe social distancing; story time with Mills Brown; a visual scavenger hunt; flower collage cards; video streamings of Synetic Theater shows; and fitness videos.

The program has also transformed the Arlington Art Truck, which is a curated mobile van that brings Arlington’s artists-in-residence to public events to display interactive art projects, into a digital resource, providing downloadable pages that are components of the original program, restructured for at-home use.
