DC Beer Fest

A Conversation with Katie Couric
Accomplished journalist—and Northern Virginia native—Katie Couric has been delivering the news for four decades. From the Today show to the CBS Evening News and now as a documentary filmmaker and founder of her own media company, Couric is a fixture in American media. She’s also a fierce advocate for cancer awareness. In a very special Smithsonian Associates event, the newswoman will receive the John P. RENT, The Musical
