Rosslyn Jazz Festival
It’s the 29th anniversary of the Rosslyn Jazz Festival this year and the event is set to bring even more jazz, blues soul and funk to Gateway Park for the celebration. Look out for the headlining group, The Suffers, who feature a “Gulf Coast sound,” inspired by their hometown of Houston, Texas. Pasture Palooza
Time to claim your campsite and enjoy live music from Big Something, an American alternative rock band, The Nth Power featuring Jennifer Hartswick, who will bring a soulful and funky groove to the event, and more. Wild Roots Music Festival
Americana music. Lakeside views. Live music. Fresh-tapped beer. Does it get any better? Not at the Wild Roots Music Festival. This year’s event features Cabin Creek, known for their old-time string music, Hive Robbers, who combine blues and rock with the sounds of Appalachia, and Fredericksburg-based Karen Jonas. All Things Go Fall Classic
Your first thought of Union Market is probably what it’s best known for: food. But that’s not the real star of the All Things Go Fall Classic. This year’s music festival will feature pop/electronica CHVRCHES, pop star Melanie Martinez and indie pop band LANY, as well as other up-and-coming artists such as Betty Who and Olivia O’Brien.
