Now in its fourth year, the Northern Virginia International Film & Music Festival, or NoVA Fest, aims to bring “a slice of Hollywood” to the Metro-D.C. area, with a lengthy lineup of international films, swanky parties and an awards ceremony. New this year is the festival’s Capital Film Market, a two-day event where filmmakers can sell their craft to representatives from traditional distribution companies and the likes of Netflix and Amazon. Michael Uslan, producer of Batman films both new and old, will deliver the market’s keynote address. Below, find four of the featured films, all of which have ties to NoVA.
