Reston Multicultural Festival
Sept. 23, 11 a.m.-6 p.m.

Residents of Reston and the surrounding areas are invited to dress in clothing that represents their individual cultural history. Food, live music, games and artwork from across the globe including Japan, India and Russia will all be at the Lake Anna Plaza on Sept. 23. Other popular events include an international book fair and 3-D art exhibit that features ceramics, sculptures and more. // Lake Anne Plaza, Reston

Prio Bangla Multicultural Street Festival
Sept. 23, 11 a.m.-7:30 p.m.

Arlington is holding its sixth annual multicultural street festival on Sept. 23 organized by Bangladeshi nonprofit Prio Bangla. Vendors selling traditional ethnic food, clothing and jewelry from around the world will line the streets at this celebration of diversity. While the festival aims to educate the local community about Bangladeshi culture in particular, it’s a festivity for all ethnic backgrounds. // Arlington

Loudoun County International Festival
Sept. 24, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

The Loudoun County International Festival, held rain or shine, celebrates all cultures with family activities, local food trucks and a diverse range of shows, including the Joe Falero Band and Carpathia Fold Dance Ensemble. Children 12 and under get in free. There will be over 10 different moon bounces, a rock-climbing wall, camel rides and more for kids of all ages to enjoy. // Douglass Community Center Park, Leesburg

Manassas Latino Festival
Sept. 24, noon-5:30 p.m.

Celebrate the rich history of Latino culture with everything from Zumba and traditional dances to a mariachi band. With the goal of bringing NoVA residents together, the Manassas Latino Festival encourages preservation of culture. The biggest entertainment event of the day will be a Las Chicas Sabor Tropical concert on the main stage. // Harris Pavilion, Manassas
