Northern Virginia is gearing up for game day

Northern Virginia restaurants are at the ready to make sure your Super Bowl LI goes off without a hinge.

Whether you want to join Falcons or Patriots fans at your neighborhood bar or get a game day-worthy spread delivered to your living room, there are Northern Virginia restaurants at the ready to make sure your Super Bowl LI goes off without a hinge. And if you need some inspiration for your at-home viewing party, our guide has suggestions for wings, beer and more.

Texas Jack’s Barbecue
Feb. 5

Texas Jack’s is offering a special takeout menu for this year’s Super Bowl. You can pick from four packages featuring smoked wings, pulled pork or brisket. The Game Day package includes mini brisket sliders, smoked wings, mac and cheese and a mixed green salad. You can also visit the restaurant in-person and watch the game on a flat-screen TV and get specials on wings, craft beers and cocktails. // Texas Jack’s Barbecue: 2761 Washington Blvd., Arlington

River Bend Bistro Super Bowl Charity Fundraiser
Feb. 5, 5-9 p.m.

Watch the big game while giving back to a good cause at River Bend Bistro this Super Bowl weekend. The Alexandria restaurant will serve an all-you-can-eat buffet with bacon dip, hot dogs, chili and more while the game plays on two large-screen TVs. Tickets are $40, and there will be a cash bar and silent auction. Proceeds benefit the Santa Claus Yacht Club, a nonprofit providing assistance to in-need Alexandria families. // River Bend Bistro & Wine Bar: 7966 Fort Hunt Road, Alexandria

Capitol City Brewing Company-Shirlington Brewper Bowl
Feb. 5

Watch the Patriots and Falcons face off at Capitol City Brewing Company in Shirlington while digging into its special tailgate menu starting at 3:30 p.m. The menu features tater tot nachos, fried pickles, meatball sliders and chili dogs. There will also be the chance to win prizes throughout the day. Old Blue BBQ delivery
Feb. 5

Old Blue BBQ is partnering with UberEATS for game-day food delivery. The restaurant is offering a $25 special that feeds four people.

Feb. 5

Mike Isabella Super Bowl Catering
Feb. 5

Fourth Annual Pig Skin Brunch
Feb. 5

Trummer’s on Main and Myron Mixon Pit Master Barbecue will both offer specials on game day as part of the D.C.-wide Fourth Annual Pig Skin Brunch. Before the game even starts, you can head to Trummer’s between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. for pork belly biscuits, a pork plate melt and a pastry basket. At the brand-new Myron Mixon Pit Master Barbecue, you’ll have your choice of beef brisket, baby back ribs, pork belly, baked potato salad and peach-baked beans while the game plays on multiple flat-screen TVs. Haute Dog & Fries

American Tap Room
Feb. 5, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
