Summer is the time to let it all go—the stress, the schedules and whatever is on your mind. Thankfully, NoVA has many venues that offer open-mic nights no matter how you want to express yourself.

Epicure Café: Come to Epicure Café any Monday or Thursday night for an incredible open-mic night experience. On-site signups begin as early as 5 p.m., and music starts at 8 p.m.

Busboys and Poets: Busboy and Poets is a coalition of a restaurant, bookstore, lounge and theater where an open-mic night is held every Tuesday. With a new host each week, expect to hear a diverse group of musicians and poets express themselves on stage.

King’s Tavern and Wine Bar: Every Friday night starting at 9 p.m., King’s Tavern and Wine Bar hosts an open-mic night where musicians and comedians can show the crowd what they’ve got.
