You’ll soon have even more reasons to visit Fairfax Corner. Property management company Peterson Companies says the area is getting two new retailers and four new eateries.
“With several new brands and an entirely new retail building, we’re elevating the center’s offerings and experience. Our mix is changing in the best of ways, and our newly opened and soon-to-come tenants are giving our customer the best of what they want,” Kimli Cross, senior vice president of leasing at Peterson Companies, said in a release.
New Retail
Brighton will soon occupy a 1,552 square foot space in the building that houses Apple, Arhaus, J.McLaughlin, and Sweetgreen. The brand sells women’s handbags, jewelry, and accessories. It plans to open later this year.
In addition to Brighton, following a successful pop-up, Fairfax Corner is welcoming back Becky’s Boutique. The locally owned women’s fashion retailer is expected to open this month.
New Eateries
Cafesano Italian & Mediterranean Bistro is opening a location at Fairfax Corner later this year. The fast-casual eatery, which serves pizza, pasta, falafel and kabobs, will have a dining room as well as outdoor seating. It currently has locations at Reston’s South Lakes Village Center and at the Dulles Town Center.
The team behind the popular Chateau de Chantilly and viral Fairfax bakery Layered will open a second Chateau café in a portion of the former Arhaus space. The current Chantilly Chateau location sells a variety of coffee drinks, sandwiches, and pastries, as well as custom-made cakes.
Nando’s Peri-Peri, known for its South African flame-grilled chicken platters, skewers, and sandwiches, will occupy 3,450 square feet next to Chipotle.
Both Chateau and Nando’s are slated to open in early 2027.
The previously announced Ruthie’s All Day, located across from REI, is confirmed for a March opening. This is the second location of Ruthie’s, which has appeared on our Best Restaurants list since 2021. Chef Matt Hill says the new location will offer Southern hospitality and comfort food similar to that served at the original Arlington restaurant.
