King Arthur Baking Company Announces Northern Virginia Store Changes

The store provided updates on two NoVA locations.

King Arthur Baking Company is heating up its NoVA presence. The store announced that it is extending the date of its pop-up shop in Fairfax Corner. It’s also opening a permanent location in Old Town Alexandria.

The company confirmed that a permanent location — that will include a baking school — will be opening in Alexandria at the end of the summer. No exact opening date has been announced.

The Alexandria location will be at 615 King St., Alexandria Living reported, according to building permits filed with the City of Alexandria. It will be on the street level of an upcoming mixed-use development called The Mansly, which will have 24 residential units above 615 and 621 King St.

The Alexandria location will be King Arthur Baking Company’s second location to include both a store and baking school — the first being its flagship location in Norwich, Vermont.

The company also announced that the Fairfax Corner pop-up will now be open through June 2026. Last year, King Arthur announced that the pop-up, which opened in September 2024, was closing January 15, 2026.

The Fairfax location will also be hosting a handful of events throughout February. This includes the Kids Drop-In Baking Activity: Valentine’s Day on February 7 from noon to 2 p.m. and the Sweet & Salty! Mini Classes on February 14 and 28 from 9 to 10:30 a.m.

The Fairfax location is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. 11948 Grand Commons Ave., Fairfax
