“We know the holidays can feel rushed, so we wanted to create an evening that brings the joy back to gift giving,” said Amy Rutherford, owner of the three stores. “Whether you come solo to check off your list or make it a date night with a friend or partner, we’re here to help you shop with a smile.”

Each shop will offer specials throughout the evening. Red Barn Mercantile (1117 King St.) will host a Stocking Stuffer Station. Pippin Toy Co. (1310 King St.) will provide complimentary gift wrapping for all toys and gifts purchased that evening. And Penny Post (1201 King St.) will have a place to write Christmas cards and provide complimentary postage stamps.

During Midnight Merriment, all three shops will also offer festive sips and snacks.
